Situated next to the Square du Temple and on the doorstep of the indoor food market, "Marche des Enfant Rouges" one of the oldest indoor markets in Paris,the apartment is in a quiet street near the charming Square du Temple, with its bandstand and duck pond and outdoor ping pong tables and is within easy reach of the Gare du Nord and ideally situated for exploring Paris.

If you love food you will love this area with its many wonderful small restaurants and you are just a few yards from the exciting food shops of the Rue de Bretagne, where you will be spoilt for choice with Greek, Italian and French delicatessens, cheese shops and patisseries and the enticing colourful fruit and vegetable stalls.

Meander through the narrow Marais streets lined with galleries and small speciality shops to visit the famous Marais museums: Picasso and Carnavalet, and the Pompidou Centre.

If, like us, you get seduced by all the new and delightful sights you will soon find yourselves down on the busy shopping street Rue de Rivoli, near Notre Dame Cathedral and the river Seine.

There are three Metro stops close by, as well as useful bus routes , so all of Paris is very accessible. Don?t forget to try out Velib, the new scheme for hiring bicycles in Paris- the Marais is the perfect place to explore in this way!

The 96 bus which crosses rue de Bretagne will take you to St Paul, Hotel de Ville, St Michel, Odeon, St Germain and finally ends its journey at Gare Montparnasse.
